CHALLENGE
Belgian companies could collect and recycle no less than 34,000 tons more plastic annually. Plastic packaging waste are too often considered as
"just small bits that don't make the difference".
SOLUTION
We developed an awareness campaign aimed at business leaders to convince them that they have everything to gain by sorting their plastic packaging films, whether in terms of compliance with laws or environmental protection.
We have hired the French-speaking Patrick Ridremont and the Dutch-speaking Nic Balthazar as a "waste coach" for companies, to show them how simple they can do this.
The campaign was carried out in OLV, Social Media, print and e-mailing. In addition, a starter kit mailing was sent to several thousand Belgian companies to initiate the sorting of their industrial plastic packaging.
